Synopsis: In the mid-21st century, painter Jack Hadrian is living the good life until his fiancée disappears into thin air, leaving him afraid to leave his apartment and stuck in a creative rut. Beaten down by his loneliness, he eventually purchases a "muse" named Ev, a life partner genetically-engineered specifically for him. As their relationship grows, stories from her past make him suspect that all might not be as it appears.
